t is interesting that a couple of the boys in the front row are barefoot. On the other hand, the girls look pretty well turned out. Probably a note was sent home about the photos and the girls’ parents were more likely to have received the note.

First and third grade school photos.

It was in the third grade that I became ‘Don’. Before that around home I was Donny, Terry’s sons still call me Uncle Donny.

There were three Donalds in my third grade class. I proposed that we call Donald Wells Donald, Donald Abbot Donny and me Don. It stuck.
