This photo is from the early 60s after Luther stopped driving. They moved to a retirement apartment on Lucas near the railroad tracks. This was only about three blocks from our Horns Street house - as the crow flies. They were here doing my high school years.

Their heath degraded and their ability to care for themselves became questionable. and early in the 60’s they moved to a nursing home.
