Keys to the Idylwood House

I don’t think we had keys to the house on Idylwood. We certainly never locked it. Maybe dad had some keys squirreled away so he could lock the house while we traveled to California, but if so, it was not apparent to me. Locking houses and cars was just not something that happened then.

What a contrast to today!!!!
