Patrick Scott Golden!
Patrick Scott Golden was born in Methodist Hospital, Houston, on 30 July 1970.
We were living in the NASA Colonnades on NASA Road 1 in Webster. The ‘NASA Colla’ as Britany called it.
My mom and Janice came to stay with Britany while I took Kath to the hospital for the delivery. Kathy was full term and her OBGyn, Joe Feste, had decided to induce.
Yet again this was the dark ages of childbirth and I was banished to the Stork Club. The delivery went well and mother and child were healthy and safe. I have no idea where the photos are of this event. Maybe I had left my camera at home.
In those days a birth entailed a 3-5 day hospital stay. By 2 August Scott and Kathy were ready to be released, but hurricane Celia was bearing down on the Texas Gulf coast. Dr Feste maintains that they would be safer in the hospital but Kathy wanted ‘outta there’ so discharged them to go home anyway.

So we had not settled on the nomenclature fo Scott, Patrick or Scott. We were sort of using either and both. Fo finally we let Britany sit in the big chair and hold him. Her first question was, ‘Is this Partridge or is this Scott?’ Maybe she thouoght she was beset by two of these disruptive things.

Britany was generally sweet to her brother. On the othen hand, he pulled himself up by her hair.
