The rest of the story: The damage was to the front wheel, the front fork and the handle bars. My awesome, crafty, handy dad fixed it all!!!! We had no money to spare to replace the bike or to buy parts so he spent hours straightening the rim, bending the handlebars back into shape and completely redoing the front fork.

What a guy!
